This is an excellent example of the Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Army. This example was originally shipped out west to the Colt Agency in San Francisco, California on July 12, 1898. Factory letter confirms all features and is included with the purchase. This example retains approximately 85% of the original barrel blue. The frame and hammer exhibit about 60-70% case hardened finish with areas of vividness. The cylinder has turned to a mix of blue-brown patina. Grips are excellent. Mechanically works perfectly. A strong example of an original Western shipped antique Colt Frontier Six Shooter!
