Civil War 1/6 Tintype of a Double Armed Texas Confederate. This image at one time was believed to be a Tennessee soldier, however after some time has passed it was determined to be a Texas soldier as another image of this same soldier was posted with an ID through the family. That image turned up on a Civil War Faces group on Facebook. He was wearing an overcoat but wore the same belt buckle and also what is believed to be the same pistol. The facial similarities are nearly identical. At the time of myself acquiring this image, I can not seem to find the post and don’t recall who posted it as it was 2-3 years ago now. Housed in a full leatherette case with split spine.
