Civil War 1/6 tintype of a double armed Virginia Confederate posed with his musket with bayonet attached and tucked into his belt, a Colt Model 1860 Fluted Army. Many Fluted Armies were shipped south to Virginia at the beginning of the war leading me to believe this would be a very early image! The way to discern that this is indeed a fluted army is you can just make out the flutes extending the length of the cylinder. Housed in a full leatherette case.
