Outstanding Civil War M1842 Aston Percussion Pistol. This example remains in near mint condition. The stock has some handling marks. The cartouches are outstanding. The stock itself remains sharp to the touch on its edges. The metal is excellent, remaining still bright but showing a natural honest light patina aging. Mechanically excellent. Matching 1851 date on the lock and the barrel.
