Civil War 1/6 ruby Ambrotype Double Armed Confederate Soldier with a shall draped over his shoulders. This image surfaced out of Texas. The name J Arnold and the date of 1861 is found on the cushion. The image itself has a scratch through it as seen in photo.
There are a few option if who this soldier could be in the records, however I’m unable to determine with certainty who he is so I will refrain from putting a positive ID on the image. I’m sure someone can figure it out with the time and effort!
