Original high condition Colt Model 1849 Pocket manufactured in 1862. This example is in stunning all original condition. To start, the case colors on the frame don’t photograph in natural light that well on the left side. This example retains approximately 90% barrel blue. The frame about 90% case hardening. The cylinder shows a strong and nearly perfect original cylinder scene with approximately 95% blue remaining. The grip has all of the original factory varnish while the backstrap and trigger guard retain all of the original silver wash finish. All matching visible serial numbers.
