Original Civil War CDV of Bucktail Charles F. Barclay of Company K, 149th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He was captured while the company was deployed as skirmishers near the Seminary during the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1, 1863. Barclay was taken to Staunton, Virginia, then held at Libby prison in Richmond (July 18-August 3), then held at various prison sites—Danville, Virginia, Macon, Georgia, and Columbia, South Carolina, before being paroled at Charleston, South Carolina, on December 10, 1864.
